Volunteers are vitally important members of the Wichita Presbyterian Manor community. Whether it is helping out with a resident’s daily needs or activities, or serving on a special committee, volunteers can make a difference. There are as many possibilities for Wichita Presbyterian Manor volunteer activities as there are individuals. Just a few of our volunteer opportunities include assisting in the gift shop, leading a crafts group, reading a story, writing a letter or helping with errands. In as little as one hour a week, you can help make a difference while making new friends.
For more information about volunteer opportunities at Wichita Presbyterian Manor, call Marketing Director Amy Watson at 316-202-3757 or contact us.
Wichita Presbyterian Manor Advisory Council
In addition to a board of trustees which oversees the operations of all 18 Kansas and Missouri Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America communities, each of our communities is assisted by a local advisory council. Representing diverse backgrounds, professions and service areas of interest, the advisory council may offer recommendations about the community’s policies or services, provide insight and guidance relative to the needs of the local area, and represent the views of our constituency in public discussions and with elected representatives.
